Since the beginning of 2021 we have moved to the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda, pearl in the Périgord Noir. At one and a half kilometers from the historic center, we found a house that immediately knew to charm us.
On a quiet and enclosed property you will find everything you need to spend an unforgettable vacation.
We are pleased to offer you a tastefully renovated luxury gîte for 4 people or one of our 2 spacious, totally renovated luxury B&B rooms with private bathroom and toilet.
In the garden of almost 4 hectares with woods and swimming pool there are plenty of opportunities to relax, for young and old.
For example, there is a ping pong table, table soccer, various toys and a library cabinet with literature in various languages and for all ages available.

Secured swimming pool (to be shared with the B&B guests) and private terrace, only for the gîte.

- 1st floor: living room, 1 bedroom with double bed (2 x 80 cm wide) and built-in closet, private bathroom with shower and toilet
- On the 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with 200 cm double bed (2 x 100 cm wide), bathroom with bath, dressing room, air conditioning

Surroundings
The Dordogne Périgord, which is part of the Aquitaine region in southwestern France, is one of the largest and most picturesque departments in France and possesses a huge number of protected historical buildings. The Dordogne Périgord is divided into four colors according to the diversity of its landscapes: Périgord Vert, Périgord Blanc, Périgord Pourpre and Périgord Noir. The Périgord Noir (‘black’ as in dense oak and chestnut forests), in which Sarlat-la-Canéda is located, is one of the most attractive parts of the Dordogne.
This area, known for its gastronomy, relaxed way of life and internationally known cultural sites, is the perfect destination for a short or longer vacation.

Payment
We only accept cash payment on arrival or bank transfer before arrival (no credit cards or cheques).
Check in / check out
Arrival from 16 hours. Departure at 10 am at the latest.
Extra bed
On request and at additional cost, one extra bed can be placed in the La Truffe room and in the master bedroom of the gîte.
Arrangement of the beds
We have double beds, which can also be made up as single beds. Please let us know what you prefer, so we can prepare your visit as well as possible.
Animals
Our friends pets are not allowed.
Internet connection
Free wifi is provided in the breakfast room for B&B guests and in the living room of the gîte.
To park
Free private parking is provided for our guests.
Prices
The prices are for the period October 2024 – September 2025.
Identity
In accordance with French law, we need to know who is staying in our B&B. For this reason, we are obliged to ask for your identity details.
Camera surveillance
For your and our security, our domain is equipped with camera surveillance in accordance with current regulations.
Reservation
A reservation is only valid once a 35% deposit has been paid. During the months of July and August we ask you to transfer the balance at least 4 weeks before arrival.
Smoking and drugs
All B&B rooms, the gîte and the breakfast room are non-smoking. The use and possession of drugs are not accepted in our B&B.
Stay
During the months of July and August, there is a minimum stay of 4 nights in the B&B rooms and 7 nights in the gîte.
Outside the months of July and August, a minimum stay of 2 nights in the B&B rooms and 4 nights in the gîte applies.
If you wish to stay less nights than the requested minimums, a supplement of €25 per night applies.
Deposit
To rent the cottage, a deposit of €300 per stay is required, payable by bank transfer before arrival. If you have left the cottage without damage, this will be refunded to your account within a week of your departure.
Swimming pool (chlorine)
Pool towels are not included in the price, you can bring them yourself or rent them for €5/piece. We kindly but urgently ask you not to use the towels provided in the B&B rooms/cottage at the swimming pool.
The pool is fenced in accordance with safety regulations. However, for your and our peace of mind, we ask that children are always accompanied by adults at the pool!
